Unlocking Potential
Brenda Lynch serves as an educational consultant who is both innovative and compassionate about the development of teachers and students. She knows how to mentor teachers to become extraordinary educators. As a mentor, she teaches how to maximize student engagement, conceptual understanding, and achievement within a classroom, as well as evaluate student knowledge of the subject matter.
Brenda earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Teaching and Masters in Secondary Education from Sam Houston State University. Brenda’s secondary education experience includes being a high school math teacher in Spring ISD, Willis ISD, Conroe ISD, and Montgomery ISD, a Secondary Mathematics Specialist at Region 6 Education Service Center (ESC6) in Texas, and in New Caney ISD. Brenda has served as an adjunct professor at Sam Houston State University in the College of Teaching and Learning and at Lone Star College-Montgomery and University Park.
Brenda takes advantage of extensive opportunities through the perusal of academic literature and participation in multiple training opportunities and conferences to continue her learning to stay current on educational issues in mathematics, technology applications, and instructional practices. Brenda serves as a strong technological presence for her teachers, bringing essential hardware and software resources to the districts she supports. Additionally, she provides professional development for math teachers and instructional coaches at the national, state, regional, collegiate, and district levels. These include multiple opportunities to share her knowledge at the Texas Instrument International Conference, National Conference for Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), National Conference for Supervisors of Mathematics (NCSM), and Texas Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching.
Presently, Brenda is also serving as an adjunct consultant for Texas Instruments and Lead4ward, providing professional development that educates teachers and leaders in multiple ways to engage all students in the learning process. She is an active member of the Association of Professional Educators (ATPE) and serves as treasurer of the Delta Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma in Conroe, Texas.
